Royal Television Society's Celebration Lunch of Dennis Norden interviewed by Barry Cryer
I went to a fabulous lunch by The Royal Television Society for Dennis Norden being interviewed by Barry Cryer. Dennis was brilliant and funny and it was a joy to be part of British Television history. Dennis was joint Chairman of the Writer's Guild with my Gran Hazel Adair in the 1960's and they called a 6 week strike which meant that afterwards British writer's got royalties and minimum pay. Dennis wrote one of my most favourite comedy series "The Glums".
